How can we make sure some of these new licensed shirts are retro or vintage My Little Pony style?

I’m loving all these new Friendship is Magic style shirts coming out! They are adorable and I can’t wait to get my hands on some of them.

But I don’t want the New! Shiny! aspect of FiM to mean that none of the licensing goes towards the retro and vintage style shirts many of us love. How can we make sure that the older ponies aren’t totally ignored in favor of Friendship is Magic style shirts?

There’s two things we vintage fans can do to make sure we aren’t totally forgotten. 

1. Support the vintage products already out there! Mighty Fine has already put out a new retro style shirt pictured here and 80s Tees has several really cool retro style shirts here. If the vintage products sell, they’ll keep making more. It’s as simple as that!
2. Submit retro style designs and vintage themed shirts to the WeLoveFine contest. They’ve already shown that they are willing to remember the original fandom with the shirt to the right so it’s one of our best chances to get the shirts we’d love to see made. You can see the submissions that they’ve gotten so far, they are very FiM heavy. Let’s get some retro designs in there.
