If there was an award for Most Commonly Mistaken for My Little Pony, the Cabbage Patch Kids Ponies would win it, hooves down. You can’t blame people for getting confused! Your first guess was Powerpuff Girls, wasn’t it? But Lauren Faust, original executive producer of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, actually won an Emmy in 2008 for her work as head writer on Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.
