Whew… OK… so what other big stories did I miss?

The answer is… sort of. Because look what I just found:

Adorable? Yes. Officially Hasbro licensed? It’s being sold by by Disguise which sells the other licensed MLP costumes so that sign points to yes.

And, before you ask, only child and toddler sizes. Sorry, adult sized guys and gals! But think of the fun you can have dressing your little ones!

Inspired by “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic,” the Hasbro Studios TV show airing on The Hub, products in the Canterlot section will include bedding, costumes, books, t-shirts, arts and crafts, activity sets and exclusive toys based on characters Princess Celestia, her sister Princess Luna and Twilight Sparkle.

“This summer, fans of the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic television show, can embark on their own Canterlot adventure at Target,” says Stephanie Lucy, vice president of merchandising, Target. “We expect that Target’s exclusive merchandise will have My Little Pony followers mesmerized.”

Here’s what we know so far for sure

• It’s called Canterlot
• It’s themed around the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic animated television show
• It’s exclusive to Target
• Products will run the gamut from t-shirts to bedding and books
• Some target stores have already put the displays out in stores while some are planning them for the next few weeks

They’ve since updated their catalog so that now (almost) all the MLP shirts are available in adult sizes for both men and women! Many shirts are also offered in sizes up to 3X! Wooohooo!

That said, many shirts are still not available in adult sizes. One of these is, maddeningly, the Retro shirt that most of you have expressed the most interest in. I have two different emails into the company to see if they’ll be releasing it in adult sizes soon and haven’t gotten an answer yet but I will let you know when I do. But, in the meantime, lots of FiM goodness to be had so go nuts!

See, officially, the MLP toys start next Sunday and the McDonalds site shows them as coming up next with Only Hearts Pets still in Happy Meals right now. But many fans have already gotten the whole set and some McDonald’s are reporting that they are already sold out of the toys which means they’ve been giving them out already.

Either way, you should probably get to a McDonald’s ASAP if you want one. Your McDonald’s may not have the toys yet, though, so don’t blame me if you come up empty handed. Just be sure you call before going to avoid disappointment.

As for the toys themselves, there are 8 ponies total, each of which is a character from the new Friendship is Magic television show. Each pony has a brushable tail and their stands comes apart to become two combs.

The ponies available are:

• Applejack
• Rarity
• Cheerilee
• Twilight Sparkle
• Pinkie Pie
• Rainbow Dash
• Princess Celestia

Which one is your must have?

Sadly, these items have been discontinued one by one and are gone for good. Both of the stations were recently removed from the Orlando area.

While Summer has photos of all the accessories in The My Little Pony G3 Collector’s Inventory, if you wanted any of these outfits for yourself, there’s still hope if you act quick. A quick search reveals that there are still a handful of sellers selling both complete outfits and pieces of outfits on eBay. If you want any of them I highly recommend you grab them soon before a) they run out forever and b) before the sellers realize they can’t get any more and totally jack up their prices (which some have already done, though there are still some that are under $1 as I’m writing this).

In the meantime, I am in possession of an extra of one of the coolest (and hardest to find) outfits from this set, the Princess raincoat and hat set, which I would like to give to one of you. Stay tuned for a contest in the near future!

After reading this, I have several thoughts:

• It looks like we are getting new toys and ponies, always a good thing.
• When they say “new look” do they mean newer than this one?
• I’m glad they are making a new animated special. I won’t watch it, of course, but I think to know these things are out there.
• They are making a movie about Nerf??? (I read the whole press release, sorry.)
